Bazat pe memoriile "Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family and Fighting to Get Back on the Board", acest film biografic o are in centrul actiunii pe Bethany Hamilton, o adolescenta talentata care practica surfingul, participa la competitiile nationale impreuna cu cea mai buna prietena a sa Alana Blanchard si viseaza sa devina campioana la acest sport acvatic.

Producătorii continuă franciza de success Step Up, de data aceasta in 3D.

Intr-un final, găseşte doi dansatori potriviţi: Natalie, o dansatoare de street dance invăluită in mister şi Moose, personaj secundar in Step Up 2 - The Streets, care acum este in primul an la NYU.
